Art Works are specialists in the packaging of paintings, sculptures and objects to the highest specifications for national and international transport and for long term storage.
We specify, design and make bespoke packaging for objects of all types from miniatures to monumental sculpture.
We have a great deal of experience in the packaging and safe transit of ceramics and glass.
Transport
Art Works specialises in providing cost effective, high quality art transport.
We run our own dedicated fleet of medium sized, air suspension, climate controlled vehicles purpose built for art transportation.
We transport work to government indemnity specifications with couriers when required.
We are able to insure works in our care up to any value.
Installation
We can provide anything from one individual specialist to a full team of experienced, art sensitive technicians. We can undertake any type of picture or object installation for museums, galleries, collectors, owners and artists. We work in public buildings and private homes.
Our experience also includes specifying and building plinths, audio visual installations, lighting exhibitions and placing large scale sculptures both indoors and outside.
Media
At Art Works we can provide a range of media services including all aspects of photography and film.
From object documentation to educational and promotional films- we can provide advice and expertise from the early developmental stages of media projects right through to completion.
Training
Here at Art Works Exhibition Services, we also offer a wide range of in-house training for museum and art gallery staff. From handling and packing methods, to hanging and condition checking - we can help get your team on the same page and up to date with museum standard practices. All of our trainers are highly experienced and currently working as technicians within the sector.
